Prepare Functional Specification and Request for Proposal <br /> <br />Using general functional specifications prepared in task 7, the <br />detailed requirements for each device or software program will <br />be specified. <br /> <br />Prepare a Request for Proposal (RFP). <br /> <br />Assist in distribution of RFP. <br /> <br />12. Assist in Vendor Presentations <br /> <br />Qualifyin9 vendors will be required to make presentations and demon- <br />strations. We propose to join with the Project Team and other'mem- <br />bers of City's Staff and Council during such events to ensure that <br />offerings and claims are understood. <br /> <br />1~. Evaluate Proposal <br /> <br />We propose to help evaluate all vendor proposals and'advise the City <br />ss to which ones meet the City's requirements. We will develop <br />specific evaluation criteria during preparation of the functional <br />specifications and will assist in acceptance testin9. <br /> <br />1~. Review Contract <br /> <br />We propose to assist the City in negotiating with the selected vendor <br />or vendors in the development of a satisfactory contract beneficial <br />to the City. We recommend that the City's legal counsel work with <br />the consultant and staff durin9 this task. <br /> <br />15. Staff Training and Site Preparation <br /> <br />We propose to assist during the initial period of installation by <br />reviewin9 vendor efforts and recommending, when necessary, additional <br />support and training. <br /> <br />-6- <br /> <br /> <br />
