The costs are then apportioned to each parcel by the rate-acre as <br />determined by dividing the cost by the net area of benefit then multiply that <br />cost/acre by the gross area of the parcel. <br /> <br />210.015H STORM DRAINAGE LATERALS <br /> <br />Storm drainage laterals are considered incidental to the street constructions <br />and are assessed as part of the street costs. <br /> <br />210.015I SIDEWALKS <br /> <br />Sidewalks are assessed to the benefiting properties by front footage or unit <br />cost. <br /> <br />210.015J STREETS: CITY/LOCAL/DISTRIBUTOR/COLLECTOR <br /> <br />Street costs are apportioned to the property benefiting from the street <br />construction. <br /> <br />210.015K STREETS: M.S.A./COUNTY ROADS <br /> <br /> 1. Properties along M.S.A. streets and county roads will be assessed for <br /> street improvements in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of <br /> the cost of a typical street related to the land use, i.e., <br /> residential, commercial and industrial. <br /> <br /> 2. Properties ~rlth various physical abilities to support development will <br /> have the typical street cost adjusted by the benefit factor. <br /> <br /> 3. Properties along M.S.A. streets and county roads will be credited for <br /> previous street assessments, if any. <br /> <br />210.016 POLICIES RELATING TO LATERAL EXTENSIONS <br />210.016A EXISTING SUBDIVISIONS <br /> <br />No lateral service shall be extended to any existing subdivision until such time <br />as service is required to eliminate a public health hazard, and trunk service is <br />available and has been assessed to the subject property. At such time as trunk <br />service is available, laterals may be extended as follows: <br /> <br />1. By petition of the affected land owners; <br /> <br />2. By City Council action as provided for under the laws of Chapter <br /> 429; or <br /> <br /> <br />
