Regular <br />Council 9/13/76 <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on September 13, <br />1976, at Ramsey Elementary School, 15000 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Cox <br />Councilman Gorham <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilwoman Oliphant <br />Councilman Reimann <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br /> <br />Acting Clerk Treas. <br /> Peddycoart <br /> <br />Mayor Cox called the Council meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was led by Mayor Cox. <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham, seconded by Mickelson to approve the agenda with <br />additions: Under Old Business, c. plaque for Mrs. James and name <br />plate for Mrs Guy's picture, d. V. Johnson property status, e. <br />Administrative Assistant position status, f. replacement for position <br />on Ramsey Economic Development Committee. g. Klemish Addition <br />status New Business, 1. discuss renumeration for Lord of Life <br />Lutheran Church. m. Community School discussion, n. Set meeting <br />date between Council, Planning & Zoning and Ramsey Economic Development <br />Committee re: Industry Boulevard realignment, o. Insurance Service <br />Center billing, p. letter to MWCC. <br /> Carried 5 to 0 <br />Citizen Input. None <br />Councilwoman Oliphant made the following announcement: There <br />is a lost shelty sheepdog, resembles a collie, name Shawn, fawn <br />brown, lost in area of Lord of Life Church. Anyone with information <br />concerning this dog is asked to call Ramsey Police Department. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes. Regular meeting August 23, 1976. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich noted that the motion on Page 2, by Councilman <br />Mickelson concerning Louch's variance was not transcribed correctly. <br />He reiterated the correct motion. <br /> <br />Discussion took place concerning the intent of the motion. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox deferred this item until a later time. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann made a correction on Page 2, regarding Klemish <br />Addition, where it states no formal action was taken on the question <br />it should read action would be taken to carry out with the bond. <br /> <br /> <br />
