2 <br /> Re gul ar <br /> Council 9/13/76 <br />Approval of minutes tabled. <br /> <br />Special Meeting MinUtes. August 23, 1976, special meeting. <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Gorham to accept the minutes of <br />the special meeting August 23, 1976 pertaining to Waste Management <br />and the landfill as sent out. <br /> Carried 4 Ayes <br /> Oliphant Abstained <br /> <br />Mayor Cox stated that the minutes for a meeting held on August 31, <br />1976, would be prepared by Attorney Goodrich for approval at the next <br />regular meeting. <br /> <br />Letters & Communications. <br />Letter from Metropolitan Council regarding an informal meeting <br />at Andover City Hall, September 29, 1976, at 7:30 p.m. Purpose <br />is to discuss the Metropolitan Planning Act. <br />Clerk to notify Planning & Zoning Chairman to attend or else send <br />someone in his place if he is not able to attend. <br /> <br />Memo from the State of Minnesota regarding precinct boundaries. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Oliphant suggested following up on this immediately <br />after the November General Election. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich suggested this be placed on Council Agenda the <br />2nd Monday in November. <br /> <br />Letter from Anoka Hennepin Independent School District No. 11 <br />regarding a combined meeting between the School Board and all other <br />governmental units, the purpose of which is to discuss utilization <br />of Community Service levy by District No. 11. September 20th at <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilman Mickelson was appointed by the Mayor to attend this meeting. <br /> <br />Insurance renewal. <br />Motion by Oliphant to table the insurance matter until the next <br />regular Council meeting and advise agent to be present to explain <br />the policy. <br /> <br />Motion died for lack of second. <br /> <br />Motion by Gotham, seconded by Reimann to place insurance under New <br />Business on the agenda. <br /> Carcied 4 to 1 <br /> Oliphant Naye <br /> <br />CAB Interceptor. Letter from Brooklyn Park listing there Council's <br />request concerning CAB. Mayor Cox directed this letter be given to <br />the city engineer to write a letter to Metro Waste Control Commission <br />regarding Ramsey's input on the Brooklyn Park Council's request. <br />This is a priority item. <br /> <br />Old Business <br />Selection of dog catcher. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox recognized Mr. Don Carda who at a previous Council meeting <br />was instructed to check into requirements, etc. for facilities if <br />he is interested in the dog catcher position. <br /> <br /> <br />
