Council <br />Special Meeting <br /> <br />9/15/76 <br /> <br />Proceedings of the City Council <br /> City of Ramsey <br /> County of Anoka <br /> State of Minnesota <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on <br />September 15, 1976, at Ramsey City Hall, 14100 St. Francis <br />Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, MJq 55303 <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Cox <br />Councilman Gorham <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilwoman Oliphant <br />Councilman Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Acting Clerk Peddycoart <br /> <br />Mayor Cox called the special meeting to order at 9:00 ~.m. <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda. Motion by Councilman Mickelson, seconded <br />by Councilman Reimann to approve the agenda with additions under <br />O%d Business: Input on warming house for park department and <br />Klemish situation. <br /> Carried 5 to 0 <br /> <br />Citizen Input. Mayor asked for citizen comments. There was none. <br /> <br />Minutes of 8/23/76 regular meeting. <br />Councilman Mickelson made a correction on Page 2 regarding the <br />motion for Louchs variance request. The minutes state the motion <br />is approved as restated but the recorder did not write the restated <br />motion into the minutes. Motion should read: Motion by Councilman <br />Mickelson, seconded by Councilman Reimann that a variance be granted <br />to W. E. Louchs to convey parcels A, B, C, D and E as shown on <br />land survey revised on July 8, 1976, by John Oliver, Inc., which <br />would permit conveyance of these parcels by metes and bounds to <br />the specific individuals only, and for this specific conveyance <br />only, and further waive all requirements of Ordinance 75-5. <br />Said variance is granted on the following condition: That the <br />deeds conveying the parcels from W. E. Louchs to the specific <br />individuals contain the following restrictive language: <br /> <br />"The subject property shall not be conveyed unless <br />the City of Ramsey Subdivision Ordinance is complied <br />with and the Ramsey City Council has passed a <br />resolution to that effect." <br /> <br />Mayor Cox corrected Page 2, regarding Klemish situation, the <br />first paragraph from the bottom of the page should rea~ "A <br />discussion followed and the attorney was advised to proceed with <br />legal action in accordance with the ordinance." <br /> <br />Councilman Gorham said it was the consensus of the Council that <br />they would give serious consideration in giving Mr. Klemish at <br />least one year, this should be indicated in minutes. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox corrected the third paragraph from the bottom of <br />Page 2, the following should be inserted between the last two <br />sentences--"The chair indicated he certainly could go along <br />with a one year extension if it was agreeable to Mr. Klemish." <br /> <br /> <br />
