-2- <br />Special Council <br /> 9/15/76 <br /> <br />Mr. Klemish stated he would enter into a two year contract <br />with the City and would not consider any less time. <br /> <br />Page 2, 8th paragraph, correction by Councilman Gorham, regarding <br />letter from State Auditor's office pertaining to the financial <br />statement, add "Clerk Walker guaranteed that the information would <br />be in the State Auditor's office on August 30." <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann made a correction on Page.4, 6th paragraph, <br />regarding Kinderman variance. It should be noted that Mr. <br />Kinderman would be required to pay the variance and park fund fee <br />but the whole situation was not handled in the proper manner and <br />it was brought out at this meeting that Mr. Kinderman did not have <br />to go before Planning & Zoning because he was not at fault in this <br />matter. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann, correction on Page 4, the last paragraph <br />should indicate that the letter to Mr. Fields thanking him for <br />the County park fencing and the blocking of the roads is in <br />reference to the Reedhead property. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gorham, seconded by Councilman Reimann to <br />accept the August 23, 1976, Regular Council meeting minutes as <br />amended. <br /> Carried 4 to ~ <br /> Oliphant abstained <br /> <br />Old Business: <br />Insurance Service Center billing. Clerk Peddycoart was instructed <br />to write the insurance company a letter telling them that the City <br />would like a written notice 60 days prior to next year's renewal. <br /> <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Gotham to pay Anoka County Agency <br />for the workmen's comp. and employer's liability for $3,067.00 and <br />auto portion renewal for $2,325.00 <br /> Carried 5 to 0 <br /> <br />Warming house for rink at Ramsey 'School. Deferred at this <br />time, the balance in the park department account is to be <br />ascertained and this item to be on 9/27/76 Agenda. <br /> <br />Klemish Addition. Mayor Cox and Councilman Reimann are going <br />to look over Klemish property and rep6rt back to the Council at <br />the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />New Business: <br />Variance request of Arnold Cox. Mr. Cox requests a variance <br />to convey property by metes and bounds in accordance with <br />Ordinance 75-5. Property involved is located on Green Valley <br />Road between Highway 5 and 47. <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham seconded by Reimann to grant a variance to the <br />subdivision ordinance to subdivide parcel of land as described <br />on the variance application. <br /> Carried 4 to 0 <br /> Mayor Cox abstained <br /> <br />Variance request of Arnold Cox.
