-4- Special Council Meeting 9/15/76 Mayor Cox directed the Clerk to send letters of appreciation to those persons who helped out with the summer program at the school. Mayor Cox also noted that approval of the fall program as is presently in effect was not granted until this meeting. Mayor Cox set a meeting date between Council, Planning & Zoning, and Ramsey's Economic Development Committee for 9/21/76 at 8:30 p.m., at Ramsey City Hall to meet with Mr. Menkveld and Mr. Greenberg to discuss right of way acquisition for Industry Boulevard realignment. Mayor Cox scheduled a meeting the County to be held the same evening at 7:00 p.m. Clerk to send letter informing Mr. Ruud of proposed meeting for the purpose of discussing Sunfish Lake Boulevard easement agreement. Walker's Vacation Pay. Motion by Gorham, seconded by Oliphant to authorize payment to D. E. V. Walker for 10-1/3 days of vacation pay. Carried 3 Ayes Mayor Cox abstained because bhere is g~ record available to check his time Councilman Reimann- Naye Appointment of Acting Clerk Treasurer. Motion by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to appoint Arlene Peddycoart as Acting Clerk Treasurer. Carried 5 to 0 Letter prepared by Richard Sha to Waste Control Commission was read by Mayor Cox. Motion by Reimann, seconded by Gorham to send a letter tO Waste Control Commission in response to ~ the letter of Mayor Krautkremer, Brooklyn Park. Carried 5 to 0 Mayor Cox read letter from Elizabeth Parker, Anoka County, regarding CETA extension of funding. The general consensus of Council is the CETA program has not been too effective.
