-4- <br />Special Council Meeting <br /> 9/15/76 <br /> <br />Mayor Cox directed the Clerk to send letters of appreciation to <br />those persons who helped out with the summer program at the school. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox also noted that approval of the fall program as is <br />presently in effect was not granted until this meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox set a meeting date between Council, Planning & Zoning, <br />and Ramsey's Economic Development Committee for 9/21/76 at 8:30 p.m., <br />at Ramsey City Hall to meet with Mr. Menkveld and Mr. Greenberg <br />to discuss right of way acquisition for Industry Boulevard realignment. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox scheduled a meeting the County to be held the same evening <br />at 7:00 p.m. Clerk to send letter informing Mr. Ruud of proposed <br />meeting for the purpose of discussing Sunfish Lake Boulevard easement <br />agreement. <br /> <br />Walker's Vacation Pay. <br />Motion by Gorham, seconded by Oliphant to authorize payment to <br />D. E. V. Walker for 10-1/3 days of vacation pay. Carried 3 Ayes <br /> Mayor Cox abstained because bhere is g~ <br /> record available to check his time <br /> Councilman Reimann- Naye <br /> <br />Appointment of Acting Clerk Treasurer. <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to appoint Arlene <br />Peddycoart as Acting Clerk Treasurer. <br /> Carried 5 to 0 <br /> <br />Letter prepared by Richard Sha to Waste Control Commission was <br />read by Mayor Cox. <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Gorham to send a letter tO Waste Control <br />Commission in response to ~ the letter of Mayor Krautkremer, Brooklyn <br />Park. <br /> Carried 5 to 0 <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read letter from Elizabeth Parker, Anoka County, regarding <br />CETA extension of funding. The general consensus of Council is the <br />CETA program has not been too effective.
