Council 11/22/76 <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on November 22, 1976, <br />at Ramsey Elementary School, 15000 Nowthen Boulevard, Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Cox Also Present: Phil Nereson, Adm. Asst. <br /> Councilman Gorham Attorney Goodrich <br /> Councilman Mickelson Arlene Peddycoart, Deputy Clerk <br /> Councilman Reimann <br /> <br />Absent: Councilwoman Oliphant <br /> <br />Mayor Cox called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. <br />Pledge. of Allegiance to the Flag led by Mayor Cox. <br />Approval of Agenda <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to approve the November 22, 1976, Agenda <br />with the following additions: add to Mayor & Council Input - Environmental Health <br />Services Budget Information; fire call billing, Mr. Sanderson. Add to New Business - <br />Personnel Committee discussion on taking of Council minutes. <br /> <br /> Carried 4 Ayes <br /> <br />Citizen Input. <br />Mayor Cox asked for Citizen Input. There was no response. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes of November 4, 1976, Special Meeting. <br />Mayor Cox suggested that a review of the previous meeting minutes be given by a <br />Councilmember at each meeting. Council concurred. Mr. Reimann was then asked <br />to prepare for the next meeting. It is hoped to keep public better informed on <br />events and communications by this review. <br /> <br />Motion by Gorham, seconded by Mickelson to approve the minutes of November 4, 1976, <br />with the correction on Pg. 1, para. 5, changing the words easement acquisition to <br />read right of way. <br /> <br /> Carried 4 Ayes <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes of November 8, 1976, Regular Meet.ing. <br />Motion by Reimann, seconded by Gorham to accept the minutes of the November 8, 1976 <br />meeting as sent out and corrected as follows: Page 5, New Business - change the <br />word tube to tire. Page 5, motion regarding Klemish should read, to divide Lot 3, <br />Block 7, Klemish Addition into two lots each consisting of no larger than one acre. <br />Page 2, under Assessor Wirz report on land evaluation, the land value in Anoka is <br />$800, while beginning in Ramsey, the value is $1000/acre. Page 2-Green Acres quali- <br />cation should read, taxes can be picked up for the last three years instead of one. <br /> <br /> <br />
