Page 2 <br />Council 11/22/76 <br /> <br />Page 2, RE: James Martin, Traprock area should read Traprock Street area. <br />Page 3, Assessor Reports the County Attorney should be changed to County <br />Assessor. <br /> <br /> Carried 4 Ayes. <br />LETTERS & COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson presented the following: <br /> <br />Metro Council letter on A-95, review of local public works applications. <br /> <br />City of Andover is applying for funding to construct a municipal facility for <br />public works, fire station, community rooms, etc. <br /> <br />Council directed a letter be sent to the Metro Council and a carbon copy to <br />Andover indicating we support the City of Andover in their efforts. <br /> <br />Letter from City of Anoka, Manager's office regarding the Landfill sliding <br />area. Anoka wants additional specifications, particularly on liability issue, <br />and would like a hold harmless agreement. <br /> <br />Mr. Nereson stated he contacted Craig at the Landfill and Mr. Otter of WMMI and <br />they are preparing a sketch plan of the parking drive approach. This will be <br />available to give to Anoka within the next few days. <br /> <br />Letter from Pete Raatikka, Consulting Engineers Diversified, regarding final <br />payment estimate 75-1 on 153rd Avenue N.W., to Mr. Minerath. Work has been <br />completed on this project. Mayor Cox placed this item under New Business. <br />Letter from Phyllis Drexler, regarding her appointment to ABC newspapers as <br />the City reporter. Item placed under New Business. <br />Mayor Cox presented the following: <br /> <br />Letter from "Well Senior Citizens", which he gave to Council to review. <br /> <br />Certificate of Recognition to Ramsey for its contribution to the American Revolution <br />Bicentennial from the Governor. <br />CitS of RamseS History Book, which may be purchased for $2 at City hall. <br />Letter from Metro Council regarding land ~se po]ic~. <br />Councilman Gorham announded a meeting with Sandy Dean, Metro Council to be held <br />Tuesday, November 23, at 4 P.M. A preliminary meeting of what the Metro Council <br />has to say about the Urban Planning District. <br />Reports <br />Building/Assess?..R~port, given by Building Official Wirz. He reported that he <br />and Mr. Nereson met with County Assessor Leone. Mr. Leone stated there was a <br />mistake on his part and the value of land in Ramsey should be $800 instead of <br />$1,000/acre. <br />Mayor Cox asked Mr. Wirz as to whether or not he feels inspection work load <br /> <br />will lessen in the near future. Mr. Wirz answered he will be quite busy for at <br /> <br /> <br />
