CITY OF RAMSEY REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on November 2~, 1975, at Ramsey Elementary School, 15000 Nowthen Boulevard, Ramsey, MN 55303. The meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Gorham at 7:37 p.m. Present Councilpersons were Mr. Reimann, Mr. Mickelson, Mr. Gorham, and Mrs. Oliphant. Also present was City Administrator Walker. Pledge of allegiance to the flag was lead by Acting Mayor Gorham. Approval of Agenda. Motion byRei~ahn to accept the agenda of the November 2~th coUncil Meeting, seconded by Mickelson. Carried ~ to O. November 10th Regular Meeting. Motion by Reimann to accept the minutes w~th~a correction on Page 3. The Motion to hire Tim ~. Paquette should include that Mr. Paquette is hired under the CETA Program, seconded by Mickelson. Carried & to O. November 17th Special Meeting. Motion by Reimann to accept the minutes a~ ~-~e'sented, secoHd'e'd by Mickelson. Carried & to ¢). Flintwood Hills Preliminary ~la~. Mr. Dick Carson asked that 5is prelim~5-~y plat be approved as it was approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission subject to special design for sewage systems on each and every lot. The preliminary plat is the same as the sketch plan previously approved except there are 28 lots on the preliminary plat instead of 25 as indicated on the sketch plan. He said the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended the pre- liminary plat be approved by Council with certain stipulations. Mr. Reimann~asked if he is going to plant trees along the border to protect the residents from future development? Mr. Carson said he has not given any consideration to tree planting at this point but it is possible that small trees could be put in without any problem. However, this may be the point where city water and sewer is put in and these lots would be subdivided at least once or probably twice at that time. Mayor Cox arrived at 8:10 p.m. Motion by Reimann to accept the preliminary plat for Flintwood Hills subject to receipt of updated information from the ciby engineer on the sewer system and the water table elevations and his recommendations for this plat; recommendation that a double tree line be planted in back of Block 3, North and South to the park, the size of the tree being left up to the discretion of the developer. Seconded by Mickelson. Carried unanimously.
