CITY OF ]t~SEY - REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING - OCTOBER 27, 1975 <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. Meeting was called to order by Mayor Cox. Present <br />Councilpersons were Mr. Reimann, Mr. Mickelson, Mr. Gotham, and <br />Mrs. Oliphant. Also present was City Administrator Walker. <br /> <br />l_~_ledg~ o__f allegiance to the flag was lead by Mayor Cox. <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda: Motion by Reimann, second by Gorham to <br />approve t~-~ agenda with the following additions: <br /> Selection of Administrative Secretary. <br /> Sign on the land purchased for the Municipal Building. <br /> Hockey rink design and cost. <br /> Carried 5 to O. <br /> <br />October l&.th Minutes: Mayor Cox clarified the liquar license <br />'d'iscussio--~that the City did not actually restrict the right <br />until 10,OO0 population but could review their position at any- <br />time with regards to a municipal liquor off-sale store. <br />Motion by Mickelson, second by Oliphant to approve the minutes' <br />and waive reading of same with the correction as noted. <br /> Carried 5 to O. <br /> <br />October 2Oth Minutes (Special Meeting): Motion by Gorham~ <br />sec~-by-~imann to approve the m~utes as read by the Clerk.~ <br /> Carried 5 to O. <br /> <br />Citizen ~: ~o citizen input. <br /> <br />Reilly Estates Plat: No action at this time. <br /> <br />Bob Fossum's letter of resignation from the Planning and Zoning <br />~TJ-6--mm'~'ss'ion was re-~~r, Wa~r. Motion by Gorham, second by <br />Reimann to accept the resignation with regrets. Administrator <br />Walker is to write a letter of appreciation to Mr. Fossum. <br /> Carried 5 to O. <br />Administrator Walker is to check with the Planning and Zoning <br />Co~mmission on a replacement for Mr. Fossum. <br /> <br />~ppointments: Motion bM Mickelson, second by Reimann to appoint <br />[~'. Joh~ 'zabova to the Parks and Recreation Committee to replace <br />Bob Muller who desires to be on the Building Committee only. <br /> Carried 5 to O. <br />Councilwoman Oliphant appointed Mr. John Schutz to the Building <br />Committee. <br /> <br />Purchase of CoDy Machine: Motion by Gorham, second by Mickelson <br />%o author~ze~~or Walker to purchase a Remington Copy <br />Machine from Riverside Office Products for a sum not to exceed <br />$1075.00 which was the low quote. <br /> Carried 5 to O. <br /> <br />Correspqn~enc.e: Letter from Colonel Robert Knight, State <br />Director oi' Selective Service, requesting use of the Municipal <br />Buildings' and possible personnel help for registering of ei~htean <br />year olds. No action taken. Administrator Walker to contact him <br />for further information. <br />Letter from Engineer Sha requesting Mayor Cox's signature. The <br /> <br /> <br />
