- ;+- 9/8/75 <br /> <br />an ordinance to move furniture into a house before an occupancy <br />permit is signed. Mr. Reimann asked if he had permission from the <br />Building Inspector to move his furniture into the house. He said <br />no. The fine is $300, which he had paid to.the City. This money <br />will be returned to him and he will then be cited for violation <br />of the occupancy ordinance. <br /> <br />Flag Contest: A contest is being held to design a flag for the <br />Cit~ as a B~C'entennial activity. Mr. Gotham feels businesses in <br />the community would provide prizes for this contest. <br /> <br />~Virgil.,, Johnson property: This property has been red tagged and if <br />zt is nob repaired in the proper length of time, it will take its <br />normal course for hazardous buildings. It has been referred to the <br />City Attorney for condemnation proceedings. <br /> <br />Q:55 - 10:12 recess. <br /> <br />Review Committee Structure: Mr. Gorham reviewed the committee struc- <br />ture recommendations as attached to these minutes. Mr. Walker <br />recommended a nine member commission for the parks and recreation <br />committee. Mr. Cox suggested the present personnel committee not ~ <br />be dissolved at the present time. Mr. Cox moved we accept this <br />report with the recommendations as listed with the exception of <br />item No. 8 to dissolve the present Personnel and Management Com- <br />mittee. He would like to have this commission continue. Seconded <br />by Mr. Mickelson. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />~apes~ The City Council directed the Administrative Assistant to <br />draw up an amendment to the tape ordinance to erase the tapes after <br />the minutes are approved by the Council and no longer retain them <br />on file. <br /> <br />Resolution No. A~ Motion by Councilman Gorham and seconded by <br />Councilman Reimann to adopt Resolution A , a resolution approving <br />the future issuance of industrial development bonds and actively <br />encouraging economically sound companies to expand or locate within <br />the City limits of the City of Ramsey pursuant to the Municipal <br />Industrial Development Act. Carried 5 to O. <br /> <br />The City Council indicate~ to the Administrative Assistant, Mr. <br />Walker, to advertise for the position of administrative secretary/ <br />records clerk and the position of park maintenance recreational <br />coordinator. <br /> <br />~uplicator Machine: Administrative Assistant, Mr. Walker, will <br />~o'ok into this further before purchasing a new machine. <br /> <br />.Mayor Cox read a mail-o-gram designating the City of Ramsey as a <br />Bi-Centennial community and the City will be officially so designated <br />at a formal flag presentation in the new future. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman .Mickelson., seconded by Councilman Gorham to <br />adjourn the meeting.
