- ;+- 9/8/75 an ordinance to move furniture into a house before an occupancy permit is signed. Mr. Reimann asked if he had permission from the Building Inspector to move his furniture into the house. He said no. The fine is $300, which he had paid to.the City. This money will be returned to him and he will then be cited for violation of the occupancy ordinance. Flag Contest: A contest is being held to design a flag for the Cit~ as a B~C'entennial activity. Mr. Gotham feels businesses in the community would provide prizes for this contest. ~Virgil.,, Johnson property: This property has been red tagged and if zt is nob repaired in the proper length of time, it will take its normal course for hazardous buildings. It has been referred to the City Attorney for condemnation proceedings. Q:55 - 10:12 recess. Review Committee Structure: Mr. Gorham reviewed the committee struc- ture recommendations as attached to these minutes. Mr. Walker recommended a nine member commission for the parks and recreation committee. Mr. Cox suggested the present personnel committee not ~ be dissolved at the present time. Mr. Cox moved we accept this report with the recommendations as listed with the exception of item No. 8 to dissolve the present Personnel and Management Com- mittee. He would like to have this commission continue. Seconded by Mr. Mickelson. Motion carried unanimously. ~apes~ The City Council directed the Administrative Assistant to draw up an amendment to the tape ordinance to erase the tapes after the minutes are approved by the Council and no longer retain them on file. Resolution No. A~ Motion by Councilman Gorham and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt Resolution A , a resolution approving the future issuance of industrial development bonds and actively encouraging economically sound companies to expand or locate within the City limits of the City of Ramsey pursuant to the Municipal Industrial Development Act. Carried 5 to O. The City Council indicate~ to the Administrative Assistant, Mr. Walker, to advertise for the position of administrative secretary/ records clerk and the position of park maintenance recreational coordinator. ~uplicator Machine: Administrative Assistant, Mr. Walker, will ~o'ok into this further before purchasing a new machine. .Mayor Cox read a mail-o-gram designating the City of Ramsey as a Bi-Centennial community and the City will be officially so designated at a formal flag presentation in the new future.
