If Ramsey is <br />to take over a landfill operation in any way, we should start all <br />over again and set up a monitoring program that works. The value <br />to Ramsey has been overstated and the liability has been very un- <br />derstated. Under no circumstances could he recommend that Ramsey <br />take over the liability of this landfill until many questiones <br />have been resolved. What is impact of Metro Sewer when they start <br />using the pyrolisis system? He doesn't know what this will do to <br />the need for landfills in this area. This matter should be dis- <br />cussed with the MWCC~ County Health Dept., D & R, PCA, Mr. Ed. <br />Fields, our engineers, etc. We should send a list of the questions <br />that should be answered. Mr. Sba could work on notifications and <br />agreements that should be worked out on this.landfill matter° <br /> <br />Mr. Cox thanked these men for coming to this meeting. He said we <br />would advise them when a decision has been made by this Council. <br /> <br />Winter meetinE~ will be held at the Ramsey Elementary School from <br />Sept. 8th thru the last school term in June. <br /> <br />We should ask Mr. Dahlman to change the sign in front of the City <br />Hall. <br /> <br />Committee structure will be taken care of by the Personnel Committee <br />when the administrative assistant arrives. <br /> <br />We will get a map box and easel for use at the school. <br /> <br />Mr. Reim$nn moved we adjourn the meeting.
