CITY OF RAMSEY - CITY COUNCIL MEETING - AUGUST ll, 1975 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Cox. Present <br />were Mr. Gorham, Mr. Reimann, Mr. Mickelson and Mrs. Oliphant. Mr. <br />Steffen was also present. <br /> <br />Citizen Input: Mr. Fred Van Krevelyn wanted to know what had been done <br />about the house on Hematite Street being converted into a church. He <br />was told this item was being reported on later in the meeting according <br />to the agenda. <br /> <br />Mr. Gotham feels we should not hold meetings after ll:00 p.m. Mr. <br />Reimann suggested we review the agenda and set the most important <br />things first. <br /> <br />Mrs. Oliphant requested permission to submit a name for the Highway <br />Committee to substitute for Mr. Fred Klammer who is moving out of the <br />City. It was agreed to postpone the matter pending receipt of a <br />written resignation and further, that the Personnel Management <br />Committee will be reviewing the question of continuing standing <br />committees within the next month. <br /> <br />Mr. Gotham moved we approve the agenda as amended. <br />Reimann. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Seconded by Mr. <br /> <br />Mr. Reimann moved that the Minutes of the 153rd Avenue Hearing of <br />July 28 be corrected to show that date instead of August 4, and further, <br />that the July 28 Council Meeting Minutes be amended to indicate that <br />Mr. Goodrich had stated that the insurance company had not replied to <br />his question regarding coverage for a lawsuit and that with these <br />corrections the Minutes of the July 28 Hearing relative to 153rd Avenue <br />and the Minutes of the July 28 Council Meeting be accepted. Seconded <br />by Mr. Mickelson. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Bud Redepenning, representing the Anoka County Highway Department, <br />requested City Council approval of resolutions relating to conformance <br />with FAS standards and construction plans for rebuilding the Rum River <br />Bridge at CSAH #7 (Farraday Bridge). Mr. Mickelson moved adoption of <br />the following resolution: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Ramsey as a condition of the <br />receipt by the County of Anoka of Federal funds for the construction, <br />reconstruction or improvement of any State Aid Highway within the City <br />enter into an agreement with the County, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Clerk be and they hereby <br />are authorized to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />Mr. Gotham seconded the motion. <br />declared adopted. <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously; resolution <br /> <br />Mr. Reimann moved adoption of the following resolution: <br /> <br /> <br />
