City of Ramsey - Minutes Council Meeting August 11, 1075 Page Two RESOLUTION WHEREAS, plans for State Project No. 02-607-10 showing proposed alignment, profiles, grades and cross-sections, together with specifications and special provisions for the construction, reconstruction or improvement of County State Aid Highway No. 7 within the limits of the City as a Federal Aid Project have been prepared and presented to the City, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED: That said plans, specifications and special provisions be in all things approved. Dated this llth day of August 1975. Mr. Mickelson seconded the motion. resolution declared adopted. Motion carried unanimously; Building Inspector Report: Mr. Pittman reported on progress of improvements being made to satisfy State Building Code requirements in converting a'residence to a church Hematite Street In response to questions from Mr i~Krevelyn, 'Mr. on Pittman indicated ~hat the state building inspector will review all requirements upon completion of the improvement work. Mr. Pittman reported the following building inspection activity: 27 permits had been issued with a total market value of $552,500 and permit fees of $2,859. This included 34 sewage permits at $10 each. Mr. Pittman also reported on an inspection problem at a home on Zuni. He had been threatened with a gun when attempting to make a plumbing inspection and indicated that he did not feel that it was safe to make the final inspection, even if accompanied by a city policeman. It was agreed that Police Chief Auspos would check on the matter and that Mr. Oorham and Mr. Reimann would determine a final disposition of the matter. License Issuance: Mr. Reimann moved that a beer license be issued to the Ramsey Lions Club for August 17th at the St. Anthony Gun Club to commence at twelve noon. Motion seconded by Mr. Mickelson. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Reimann moved that a beer license be issued to the Anoka City Fire Department for the St. Anthony Gun Club for September 7 to begin at noon, subject to payment of the fee to the Clerk. Motion seconded by Mr. Mickelson. Voting yes: Mr. Cox, Mr. Gotham, Mr. Reimann, Mr. Mickelson. Mrs. Oliphant did not vote. Mr. Reimann moved that a bingo permit be issued to the Anoka Fire Department to allow bingo at the St. Anthony Gun Club on September 7 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motion seconded by Mr. Gotham. Motion carried unanimously.
