- 3 - <br /> <br />Ordinance 75-6: This is an ordinance providing for orderly land <br />development and intending to prevent future economic hardship on <br />the present and future prgperty owners in the City of Ramsey. Mr. <br />Gorham moved Ordinance 75-6 as indicated above be passed. Seconded <br />by Mr. Mickelson. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Tree Program for Residents: Report on this was made by Mr. Reimann. <br /> <br />Recess 9:20-9 <br /> <br />~arking Ordinance: Attorney Goodrich read the proposed parking <br />ordinance. It was suggested this ordinance proposal be put in our <br />forthcoming Newsletter before anY'~action was taken on it. <br /> <br />,Dog Ordinance: Mr. Cox read the proposed amendment to the dog or- <br />dinance, Mrs, Oliphant presented another dog ordinance for review. <br />This was delayed until our next meeting. <br /> <br />~ture Municipal Site:_ Mr. Steffen said that either $19,500 or <br />$26,00 was in the building fund. He had not made a determination <br />on this as yet. Mr. Cox said three properties had been offered, <br />Bulen's~ Titterud'~ and Mr. Albert's. <br /> <br />~irgil Johnson Property: We have a report from Mr. Thurston on this <br />Property. Mr. JohnsOn has done nothing about boar~up the house as <br />instructed by the Council at the January 20, 1975 m~eting. The <br />COuncil decided, if he does not take care of this matter by May 30, <br />1975 as he agreed, we will take the necessary legal action to take <br />c~e of this matter. A letter with this information will be sent to <br />Mr. Johnson. <br /> <br />Precinct Division: <br /> <br />meeting. <br /> <br />This will be reviewed and taken up at another <br /> <br />Hedstrom Property: This will be taken up after the continued hear- <br />ing on the rez0n~ng south of Highway #lO on May 27, 1975. <br /> <br />Mr, George MaEnuson: Levelling along the Mississippi River in <br />Thurston's Addition. He has contacted the DNR and they said he <br />could do this as long as he does not change the flow of the river. <br />He said this bank needs it for safety purposes. He has a letter <br />from Ed. Thurston, the developer, stating he would like to see this <br />done. The Council stated they knew this bank was high and washing <br />out and for safety purposes needed this work done. No further action <br />taken regarding this as the Council, at present, has no authority. <br /> <br />~te for Geological Surve¥~ DNR and Council meeting. Mr. Thurston <br />is to put together the flood plain and flood ways areas of the <br />Mississippi and Rum Rivers for this meeting. Mrs. Oliphant said <br />Mr. Gesko wants to talk to the Ramsey City Council about our flood <br />plains and flood ways. They have a map showing the 100 year flood <br />areas. We must get our application in to DNR, as soon as possible. <br />This will be on the agenda for the June 9th meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
