The fringe benefit and personnel policies' adopted by <br />the City. Council on January 14,~ 1975 shall apply only <br />to the full time patrolman position wilth 'the i£ollowing <br />exceptions because of seven-day scheduling requirements: <br /> <br />Overtime shall be computed on the b~si's 'of total <br />hours worked in excess of 160 hours over' a 28-day <br />schedule. For this purpose, hOurs worked sh~ll <br />include vacation or sick leave 'taken. <br /> <br />Holidays 'shall be paid at a straight time rate in <br />a lump sum at the end of each year to. the full time <br />patrol position or pro rated on the basis 'of holidays' <br />that have passed during the course' of th'eyear in <br />the event of a termination o£ employment by the <br />person holding that position. Th~s lump sum payment <br />sh~ll constitute a holiday allowance 'and any addi- <br />tional compensation for holidays shall be only on <br />the basis of holidays actually worked by .the full <br />time patrol officer.
