ANOKA AERO INCORPORATED
14339 Ramsey Blvd.
Anoka, Minnesota 55303

May 5, 1975

City of Ramsey
Ramsey, Minnesota

Attn: Mr. William Goodrich

Dear Mr. Goodrich:

This is to confirm Mr. Johnson's telephone conversation with you
on April 30, 1975 in which, he indicated to you that Anoka Aero
had acted in reliance uPon the beer license issued by the City of
Ramsey on March 10, 1975.

It was only upon the issuance of the beer license of March 10, 1975
that Anoka Aero made it's final commitment to the Rangers for the
1975 Aero-Fair. Without the revenue derived from the beer sales,
it was Anoka Aero's position that their contribution and necessary
start-up costs would not be met by non-beer sale revenue.

Additionally, commitments were made with a national brewery to
furnish us beer produced out-of-state along with this commitment
we secured certain additional benefits such as promotional items
for use on site, procurement of certain equipments, and a signific-
ant amount of pre-scheduled advertisements both through radio and
printed media. This beer related and furnished advertising has
played a significant role in reducing other scheduled advertisements.
Arrangements have also been made to provide a mobil supply system
on the site during the days of the air-show and to furnish additional
retail outlets on site.

In addition to the foregoing, obviously the Rangers have made
substantial commitments to' the manY participants in the 1975
Aero-Fair.

I hope the above information is of some value to you and we anticipate
receiving your decision in the next few days.

Since%ely yours,

Mark Wilson
