Carson-Holm Sketch Plan: Mr. Carson passed out a sketch plan of <br />t'h'e a~ea o~hich th~ywould like to have rezoning from industrial <br />to residential. Mr. Carson suggested that this be handled at a <br />special meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission and a special <br />meeting of the Council. They asked for some r-2 high density zon- <br />ing also. Mr. Gorham asked why Mr. Gamec voted for this rezoning. <br />Mr. Gamec replied because there was a residential area west of it, <br />Ramsey Terrace. Mr. Carson will bring the legal descriptions to <br />the City Hall by l0 tomorrow. They had a petition of 26 names liv- <br />ing within 600 feet of this land stating these people had no objec- <br />tion to this rezoning. Mrs. Oliphant said we owed Mr. Carson an <br />answer. Mr. Gotham moved we set a public hearing for May 20th at <br />7:30 p.m. at bhe C~'ty Hall on this sketch plan and rezoning ques- <br />tion. Seconded by Mr. Reimann. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Board of Adjustment: Mr. Mickelson moved in accordance with Sec. <br />8'.'6 ol''~mse~ Ordinance 73~5,' to ~ppoint the City Council as the <br />City's Board of Adjustment, and that the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem <br />hold the offices of Chairman and Vice Chairman on the Board of Ad- <br />justment. The City Clerk shall act as secretary to the Board of <br />Adjustment. Seconded by Mr. Reimann. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />~e.illey Estates Plat: This is the final plat. Mr. Cox read a let- <br />ter from the Assistant County Attorney dated April lA, 1975 about <br />a scenic easement granted by the developers. Mr. Mike RuZt~n, <br />Development of Natural Resources, discussed the scenic easement <br />ordinance, Div. of Parks & Recreation #296-&803-~783. Mr. Goodrich <br />indicated that the abstract had not been received and that the hard <br />shell should not be signed until the abstract approval. Mr. Gorham <br />moved we accept the ~preliminary plat of Reilley Estates as presen - <br />t~t this meeting. Seconded by Mrs. Oliphant. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Mickelson moved we accept the final plat of Reilley Estates l, <br />2, ~and 3"'with the bpening of 156th Lane N.W. Seconded by Mr. Gor- <br />ham. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Mickela~mo~ed we accept the scenic easement on the Reilley <br />EStates ~l'~t.',' ~s shown on the plat presented at the meeting with <br />the exact legal description to be provided at a later date. Sec- <br />onded by Mr. Gorham. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Reimann moved we enter into an agreement with the City of And~ <br />over an~ C~yde 'R~ssell on the Stack Addition roads as stipulated <br />at the time of the April 15, 1974 meeting. Seconded by Mr. Mickel- <br />son. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Gorhammoved to appoint the following as Planning & Zoning mem- <br />b%rs pursuant ¥o the Planning & Zoning Ordinance with the terms of <br />office as follows, terms to start on April lA, 1975: Mr. Bodle, <br />& years, Mr. Gamec, 3 years, Mr. Sorteberg, 3 years, Mr. Pittman, <br />2 years and Mr. Fossum 2 years. <br /> <br />Mr. Gorham moved we adjourn.
