by Mr. Mickelson. Mr. Cox, Mr. Reimann, Mr. Gorham, and Mr. Nickel- son voted yes. Mrs. Oliphant voted no. Motion carried. Motion: Mr. Reimann moved we pass Ordinance No. 75-1 amending Ordi- nance No. 75-6 which was entitled "An Ordinance Establishing Rules for the Organization and Procedure of the City Council of Ramsey, Minnesota" which establishes changes regulating meetings designat- ing the second and fourth Mondays of each calendar month as the regular meeting dates and that the meetings will be held at the City Hall, Ramsey Elementary School,.or such other public location as designated by the City Council. Seconded by Mr. Gorham. Motion carried unanimously. Motion: Mr. Reimannmoved we accept th~ Anoka fire contract for the year 1975 in the amount of $2,~10.06. Seconded by Mr. Gorham. Motion carriedunanimously. A letter drawn up by our attorney will be sent to the City of Andover with regard to the Russell roads, requesting that the two communities work together towards a resolution of the problem. Motion: Mr. Reimann moves we appoint Mrs. Mel James as Chairman for the Bi-Centennial Committee and Mrs. Landol Locher as Co-Chair- man. Seconded by Mr. Mickelson. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Cox brought a large City of Ramsey sign that was rustic and attractive. We will make an effort $o put such signs at the en- trances to our City, if we can find donors for same. Motion: Mr. Gorham movsd we pay the Elk River Township bill in the amount of $5&30.91 for the blacktopping of Jarvis Street on our wes- tern boundary with Elk River Township. Seconded by Mr. Mickelson.~ Motion passed unanimously. A letter was read by Mr. Cox from the City of Anoka regarding a meeting concerning 'spring flooding. The meeting is to be held in the Anoka City Hall Commission Chambers on March 15, 1975 at 9:30 aem, Motion: Mr, Mickelson moved the meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Mr. Reimann.
