- 2- CM2/18/75 <br /> <br />had agreed to let the City of Ramsey have their Council meetings <br />there. Mr. Reimann moved we have our meetings on the second and <br />fourth Tuesdays of the month. No second to the motion so the mo- <br />tion died. <br /> <br />Mrs. Oliphant moved we have our regular meetings on the second and <br />fourth Mondays of each month. Seconded by Mr. Gorham. Mr. Gorham, <br />Mr. Mickelson, Mr. Cox and Mrs. Oliphant yes and Mr. Reimann voted <br />no. <br /> <br />Mrs. Oliphant moved we suspend Section 1 of Ordinance 7&-5 for the <br />month of March. Seconded by Mr. Gorham. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox requested Mr. Gorham to see if we can have the use of the <br />school definitely for these meetings. Mr. Mickelson moved we have <br />our regular meetings starting in March at the school. Seconded by <br />Mr. Reimann. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Bi-Centennial Chairman: Mr. Cox read a letter from Mr. Jerry Young, <br />County Librarian, asking about a chairman from the City of Ramsey <br />to take care of Bi-Centennial activities. Suggestions: our two <br />old cemetaries and to check with the Anoka County Historical Society. <br />The State program is to clean up the State such as old cars, etc. <br />Possibly the CETA program person could take care of some of this <br />type of work. Mr. Gorham will prepare material for work for such <br />a person. <br /> <br />Duke Carlson: Air Show: July ~-5-6. The main attraction will be <br />the Snowbirds of the Canadian Air Force. They want permission to <br />block the roads during the show, use our snow fence and request a <br />beer license. Mr. Mickelson has talked to Dick Johnson of the air- <br />port and to Bob Zelenak of the Lions Club concerning concessions <br />at the fair. This will be brought up again at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Extension time on final plat on Wild River Estates: Mr. Campion <br />was representing Mr. Raudio on a request for a six month extension <br />of time on Wild River Estates plat. R & O Sales are the present <br />owners of this plat, Mr. Mickelson moved we table this matter until <br />we have legal counsel to review it. Seconded by Mr. Gorham. Mr. <br />Gorhamwithdrew his second. Mr. Mickelsonwithdrew his motion. <br />Mr. Mickelson moved we extend this decision until this matter can <br />be reviewed by our counsel until March 10th. Seconded by Mr. Gor- <br />ham. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Treasurer: Mrs. Oliphant moved we accept the resignation of our <br />present Treasurer, Mrs. Kathleen Anderson, and that Mrs. Guy send <br />a letter on behalf of the City Council thanking Kathy for her fine <br />job, the resignation to be effective as of March l, 1975. Seconded <br />by Mr. Reimann. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Reimann moved we appoint Mrs. Guy as Clerk-Treasurer beginning <br />March l, 1975. Seconded by Mrs. Oliphant. Motion carried unani- <br />mously. We must have a separate audit with this type of position. <br /> <br /> <br />
