- 2- C.M.2/11/75 <br /> <br />It must be a person who is not employed or is under employed. <br />They must be a resident of Anoka County. There is no requirement <br />to keep this individual after Jan. 31, 1976, which is the date <br />this fund runs out. Mr. Cox stated that County Commissioner, Mr. <br />Fields, had complimented Mr. Steffens on the fine letter he had <br />written to the Metro Council on the Framework Guide in behalf of <br />the City of Ramsey. The Council agreed with this. <br /> <br />Weed Inspector's Report: This was given by Mr. Bruce Bacon. Mr. <br />Goodrich and Mr. Steffens will get together with Mr. Bacon on the <br />State requirements for this year's weed and tree inspecting. <br /> <br />Report was given by Mrs. Oliphant on her work on the ordinances. <br /> <br />Discussion on a moratorium on building permits in the area south <br />of Highway No. lO. <br /> <br />Mr. Mickelson moved a moratorium be placed on the issuance of all <br />building permits on the following described property: <br /> <br />Auditor's Subdivision No. 96, Anoka County, Lots 1-13 <br />and Lot 26. <br /> <br />2. Dickenson's Mississippi Estate, Anoka County. <br /> <br />All that part of the SW 1/& of the NW 1/& of Section 35, <br />Township 32, Range 25, which lies southerly of the right <br />of way of U.S. Highways l0 and 169. <br /> <br />The property descrived in i and 2 above is also known as Govern- <br />ment Lot 1, Section 35, Township 32, Range 25, and the NE 1/~ of <br />the SW 1/& of Section 35, Township 32, Range 25. <br /> <br />This moratorium shall take effect February 12, 1975, and be in <br />effect through April 12, 1975, unless prior to that date it is <br />rescinded by action of the City Council. During this two-month <br />period any person affected by this moratorium may bring his build- <br />ing permit application to the Council and the Council shall re- <br />view the same on an individual basis and may in its discretion <br />grant said building permit for good cause shown and if the Council <br />determines that the request does not materially, adversely affect <br />the purpose of this moratorium. <br /> <br />The purpose of this moratorium is to give the City's planning per- <br />sonnel time to evaluate the existing zoning of this area and to <br />propose to the Council the most appropriate future zoning plan for <br />the area. Motion was seconded by Mr. Gorham. Motion passed unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Wild River Estates Plat: We have a request from Mr. Arthur K. <br />Raudio, vice president of R & 0 Sales, Inc., for a six month ex- <br />tension on their final plat stating this was due to the present <br /> <br /> <br />
