Citizen Input

Gary Hanson, President of Bakestar at 14040 Azurite Street, stated their property is located
immediately adjacent to this development. It is his understanding that for any type of public
hearings, especially on a development agreement of this type, that property owners within a
certain distance are supposed to be notified. They were not notified on this particular case.

City Attorney Goodrich explained individual properties do not need to be notified for taxing and
financing, and a general publication is put in the newspaper. Adjacent property owners are
notified when there is approval of a subdivision or a site plan. The City followed state law
regarding notification.

Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to close the public
hearing.

Motion carried.
