Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Assistant Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Public Works Director Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Associate Planner Amy Geisler <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CAIJL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamcc called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:03 p.m. and called <br />upon Councilmember Pearson to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION REGARDING THE RETIREMENT OF FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />BADGE OF DALE MCKUSICK~ RAMSEY FIREFIGHTER <br /> <br />Fire Chief' Kapler announced firefighter Dale McKusick has given 14 years of service as a <br />Ramsey firefighter. He is not quitting the Fire Department, but for medical reasons cannot fulfill <br />the needs any longer. Dale joined the Ramsey Fire Department in 1990 and has been an asset in <br />the growth o['thc department. He has put in countless hours of instructing new firefighters, and <br />has spent about 1/3 of his life dedicated to serving his community. The Ramsey Fire Department <br />will no longer issue badge number 11, after Dale's retirement. <br /> <br />Dale McKusick stated there are a couple of people he needs to thank. One is A1 Pearson, who <br />has bcen tin incredible influence on everyone involved in the fire service. From day one, <br />Counci hncmbcr Pearson has always made the push for every individual and his leadership has <br />been incredible. He thanked Bruce Hoeke who came out of retirement to start the Department <br />and took them under his wings.
