Board Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-03-067 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0665 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FROM ELIOT AND DEBBORAH SCHAEFFER FOR A VARIANCE FROM <br />CITY CODE SECTION 9.50.30 SUBDIVISION DESIGN STANDARDS IN ORDER TO <br />PLAT PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 6200 GREEN VALLEY ROAD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Eliot and Debborah Schaeffer, hereinafter referred to as "Applicants", have <br />properly applied for a Board of Adjustment variance from Section 9.50.30 (Subdivision Design <br />Standards - Lots) of the Ramsey City Code to plat an existing homestead and create a new <br />buildable lot with less than the required minimum amount of frontage on a public road on the <br />following legally described property: <br /> <br />That part of the west 179.75 feet of the east half of the Southwest Quarter of Section <br />2, Township 30, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota which lies south of the <br />centerline of County Road 63 and also lies north of the south 1842.74 feet thereof. <br />And <br />Outlot A, Fox Ridge Estates, Anoka County Minnesota <br />And <br />The south 1842.74 feet of the west 179.75 feet of the east half of the Southwest <br />Quarter of Section 2, Township 30, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />And <br />Outlot B, Fox Ridge Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />And <br />That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township <br />30, Range 25 lying southerly of the centerline of Trott Brook. Except that part <br />platted as Fox Ridge Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicants appeared before the Board of Adjustment for a public hearing pursuant to <br />Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code on March 11, 2004, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated a <br />part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential-Rural Developing. <br /> <br />3. That the parcels surrounding the Subject Property are zoned R-1 Rural Developing and <br /> Planned Unit Development. <br /> <br />4. That the Applicants are proposing to subdivide the Subject Property into two single family <br /> rural lots through the minor subdivision process. <br /> <br /> <br />
