CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at the Ramsey <br />Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Assistant Community Development Director Pat Trudgeon <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. and the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag was performed. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec welcomed two high school students attending the Council meeting for their <br />government class, and a boy scout from Troop 606 attending the Council meeting for his <br />Citizenship in Comnmnity Merit badge <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Grog Rabowski, 15771 I<~'ypton Court NW, stated he is representing himself and his neighbors at <br />15751, 15761, 15771, 15781 and 15791 Krypton Court. He stated approximately 1-½ years ago <br />he and his neighbors came to the City to address the bike trail being put in across from the Boy <br />Scout Camp on Highway 47. The outcome was that they were to be able to install an eight foot <br />fence or wall on top the berm. The fence would have been at the cost and upkeep of the <br />neighbors of that area. A letter, referencing the action taken last fall and dated June 17th, was <br />received fi'om City Engineer Jankowski informing them of the process to subdivide the outlot. <br />On December 4, 2003 they received another letter from him discussing the quick claim deed and <br />that the deeds would be recorded no later than January 9, 2004. Now in the spring of this year <br />they arc ready to go forward with their fence or wall and are told it cannot be eight feet high, as <br /> <br />City Council/May 11, 2004 <br /> Page 2 of 36 <br /> <br /> <br />
