Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-05-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO 1 TO IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT 03-27, 141sx AVENUE NW, AZURITE STREET NW, AND BASALT STREET <br />NW <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City anticipates future sewer and water customers along the portion of <br />Basalt Street south of 141st Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ace Solid Waste Inc., has requested the extension of sanitary sewer and <br />water to their north property line, and agrees to pay an appropriate share of the cost of this <br />extensions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is currently under contract with W.B. Miller, Inc. which has <br />installed sewer and water to the point from which the desired extension would need to be <br />initiated. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />The City Engineer is hereby authorized to enter into a Change Order No 1 in the amount <br />of $24,279.25 with W.B. Miller, Inc. contingent upon Ace Solid Waste, Inc. entering into <br />an agreement with the City to pay an appropriate share of the project cost, estimated to be <br />$15,533.25. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />The portion of the funding for this project not covered by Ace Solid Waste, Inc. shall be <br />funded from TIF District 2. This amount is estimated to be $8,746.00. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
