Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Elvig, Kurak, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:31 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:31 p.m. <br /> <br />Councihnember Zimmerman inquired about the need for a small piece of land on the comer for a <br />turning easement. <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson replied he is fairly confident the City has all the land that <br />is needed. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Ordinance #04- <br />13 to vacate the easement for access purposes serving Pumphouse #2. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook: aye <br />Councilmember Elvig: aye <br />Councihnember Kurak: aye <br />Councihnember Pearson: aye <br />Councilmember Strommen: aye <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman: aye <br />Mayor Gamec: aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Public Hearing to Introduce Rural Developing Interim Ordinance; Case of <br />City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Mayor Galnec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:33 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Tmdgeon reviewed that at the April 5, 2004 <br />worksession, the City Council discussed a proposed interim ordinance that would place a 90-day <br />moratorium on platting and subdivision in the R-1 Rural Developing Zoning District.
