Commissioner LaMere noted a visit should be made to Town Center.

Chairperson Johns suggested Town Center be scheduled for October.

Chairperson Johns asked if changes had been made to Titterud within the last year,

Parks and Utilities Supervisor Riverblood responded five inches of top soil were brought into the
park and reseeding was done. He added the tennis courts were repaved and the basketball court
was popular because the ball did not get away from players on the hard surface.

Chairperson Johns asked when the roads were going into Elmcrest Park.

Parks and Utilities Supervisor Riverblood responded possibly in 2004.

Principal City Engineer Olson added it.might be difficult to hold a meeting at Elmcrest Park this
summer.

Chairperson Johns noted Woodland Green Park was mentioned for the May meeting and a joint
meeting with Council was intended for June 10.

Parks and Utilities Supervisor Riverblood advised the joint meeting with Council be held at the
Fire Station if the master trail plan was going to be discussed.

The Commission agreed.

Parks and Utilities Supervisor'Riverblood stated an alternative could be to leave the month of
June open and allow Council to choose a date when it was available. Another Commission
meeting could be held outside the regular meeting for any other matters that needed discussion.

Chairperson Johns indicated the following schedule had been discussed: Woodland Green Park
in May, Fire Station in June, July was empty, Flintwood Terrace Park in August, Alpine Park in
September and Town Center in October.

It was decided to meet at South Park in Town Center.

It was decided the Commission should visit Solstice (?) Park in July.

Parks and Utilities Supervisor Riverblood discussed the changes that had been made at Solstice
Park..

Civil Engineer II Linton indicated another item that needed consideration was changing the
meeting time to 6:30 p.m.

Motion by Commissioner LaMere, seconded by Commissioner Shryock, to adopt Outdoor
Meeting Schedule per discussion and a 6:30 p.m. starting time.

Park and Recreation Commission/April 8, 2004
Page 15 of 21
