Voting no: None. <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY TRAFFIC SIGN INVENTORY REPORT AND COMMENTS <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to <br />adopt the recommendation of Consulting Engineers Diversified and Public <br />Works Superintendent Mevissen regarding the Traffic Sign Inventory <br />and note that"Dead End"signs should be placed on temporary cul de sac <br />streets. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />LIQUOR ISSUANCE OF OFF-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE <br /> <br />Administrator Schnelle commented that he spoke with Mrs. McGregor. <br />She informed him that the ordinance had been changed and that she is <br />upset because she had not been formally notified in writing and feels <br />that she should have been. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that she had been notified of the ordiance change the <br />night she appeared at the Council meeting. Further that if she were <br />to have used the existing building she would have had to present another <br />application and she did not. <br /> <br />Mr. James Gilbertson was present at the meeting with his request for <br />a liquor license <br /> <br />Traffic pattern concern in that area was discussed. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to grant an <br />off-sale liquor license to James Gilbertson at 6141 Highway 10, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota provided he meets all of the requirements of the ordinances <br />and that the new building is to line up with the NHC building for front <br />set back. <br /> <br />Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and Sorteberg. <br />Voting no: None. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann urged that a safe access to the liquor establishment <br />be arranged for traffic in that area on Highway 10. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />MIDWEST FENCE PAYMENT <br /> <br />Engineer Raatikka presented a partial pay estimate for Midwest Fence <br />for the fencing installed at Titterud Park in conjunction with Project 79-11. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to pay the partial <br />payment to Midwest Fence holding back ten (10%) percent. Payment to be in <br />the amount of $4,514.40. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg.
