Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to <br />approve the agenda as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, Mickelson and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox read written comments from Councilman Reimaran concerning <br />various agenda items. The comments were dated March 10, 1980. These <br />comments were as follows: <br /> <br />1) With regard to agenda item #1 under "New Business" Cottncilman <br />Reimann felt the beauty shop home occupation permit should not be <br />granted, feeling that this is a use which would be better in the <br />City's planned business districts. He also wrote that if the per- <br />mit is granted the home should have an additional sewer system for <br />the shop and the driveway should be paved. <br /> <br />2) With regard to agenda item #3 under "New Business" Councilman <br />Reimann felt it should be required that sufficient fire extinguishers <br />are in place and that perhaps the fire inspector should view the <br />sketch plan for his input. <br /> <br />3) With regard to agenda item #3 under "New Business" Councilman <br />Reimann felt that landscaping details should be worked out with <br />Dickenson. The parking should be marked and that outside storage <br />of junk and inoperable busses should be screened. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to approve <br />the Council minutes of February 25, 1980 as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, Mickelson and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no None. <br /> <br />BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br />Councilman Cox announced that Dave Chapman is now on the Economic Develop- <br />ment Con~nission. There was a discussion on how the Economic Development <br />Co~mittee subcommittees were to be organized and meet. It was the concensus <br />that these committees are already meeting and there seems to be no problem. <br /> <br />LETTERS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />1) It was noted that WCCO wants a reply to its letter asking what the City's <br />source is in complaining about WCCOTs proposed radio antenna in Hamel. <br />Council concluded that Staff should contact the state authorities and <br />respond to WCCO as soon as possible. <br /> <br />2) Carl E.
