The permit was reviewed by the Council and <br />Mr. Johnstone. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to instruct <br />staff to prepare findings of fact regarding this application which findings <br />will be presented at the March 15, 1980 meeting. <br /> <br />SITE AND DESIGN PLAN FOR MORRELL TRUCKING <br /> <br />It was noted that Councilman Reimann requested more fire extinguishers. <br />The Council reviewed the site plan as presented. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to approve <br />the site and design plan and authorize the Mayor and City Administrator <br />to execute the development agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Sorteberg and <br />Mickelson. Voting no None. <br /> <br />DICKENSON BUS SALES <br /> <br />The Council agreed that it is the City's policy to permit upgrade zoning <br />such that, for example, a commercial type use will generally be permitted <br />in an Industrial Zone. Therefore, in the'present case, bus sales use is <br />a permitted use in the Industrial Zone. <br /> <br />Mr. Dickenson was present and he said that asphalt now covers the sites <br />existing septic system and therefore, paragraph #6 of the proposed develop- <br />ment agreement cannot be. Also, Mr. Dickenson questioned paragraph #3 <br />stating that since the land referred to in that paragraph is already black- <br />topped he would like to be able to park busses there. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Cox to approve <br />the development agreement and authorize Mayor and City Administrator to <br />execute same with the exception that paragraph #3 be eliminated entirely <br />and that the phrase "and maintain that as a green area .." be eliminated <br />from paragraph #6. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Mr. Dickenson also said he would like the record to reflect that in addi- <br />tion to bus sales on the site, the general offices of Dickenson Lines, Inc. <br />will also be located there. It was the concensus of the Council that this <br />item should also be included in the contract. <br /> <br />QUOTES ON VEHICLE FOR BUILDING OFFICIAL <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec presented the quotes per the Building Officials memo dated <br />March 5, 1980. Mayor Gamec said he felt the City should look into a mid- <br />size 4-door car. Del Skeim suggested looking into a Department of Defense <br />surplus vehicle. <br /> <br />It was 'the general concensus of the Council to seek quotes for a mid-size <br />4-door vehicle. <br /> <br />C/March 11, 1980 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
