IIEADOWBR00K ESTATES <br /> <br />Paul Johnson a consulting planner was present representing the developer. <br />Pete Raatikka reviewed his engineers report of March 6, 1980 with the <br />Council. There was a lengthy discussion concerning the park land dedi- <br />cation and the feasibility of a pedestrian easement and/or open space on <br />both sides of Trott Brook. l~r. Johnson stated the developer has no ob- <br />jection to an open space corridor on both sides of the Brook. <br /> <br />The concensus of the Council was that the park dedication should include <br />corridor on the South side of Trott Brook using the flood plain as the <br />boundary line and a corridor on the North side of the Brook wide enough <br />to meet the minimum park dedication requirements of the plat plus a 20' <br />wide deeded access along the West 20' of Lot 6 Block 2 for access to the <br />corridor. <br /> <br />BOARD OF REVIEW <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to schedule <br />the Board of Review for May 12, 1980 and to direct staff to publish the <br />required notice of time and place. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Sorteberg and <br />Mickelson. Voting no None. <br /> <br />BLOOM CONDEMNATION <br /> <br />The City Attorney reviewed the City's appraisal report along with the land- <br />owners appraisal report. The attorney advised the Council that the land- <br />owner would accept no less than $8,000 as a complete settlement. He also <br />reviewed with the Council the City's exposure if the matter goes to trial. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by ComncilmanMickelson to offer <br />$2800 to the Blooms as and for complete settlement for their damages in- <br />curred in the taking. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Sorteberg and <br />Mickelson. Voting no None. <br /> <br />AGENDA ADDENDUMS <br /> <br />FEASIBILITY REPORTS <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to adopt <br />Resolution No. 80-14, 80-15, and 80-16 which are resolutions Declaring <br />Adequacy of Petition and Ordering Preparation of reports for the respective <br />improvements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Sorteberg and <br />Mickelson.
