Councilman Cox said the council agreed with him that there is a need for
a gas station there, but he didn't know how Mr. Moroz could make one fit
to be in accordance with the city ordinance.

Mayor Gamec said with a variance, they could possibly go 90' from the center
line and 30' from the building.

Mr. Moroz said that would still give him quite a bit of room.

Councilman Cox~suggested they discuss the issue themselves because the
council can't decide on these matters.

Mayor Gamec said he thought some stipulation should be made that the
entrance shown in pink on the map should be eliminated.

Mayor Gamec recommended to the owners that they go over all the alternatives
and come back with their decision to the City Council.

No action taken.

5) Licenses for Approval

#80-1113 - Motor Vehicle, Sales, Repair and Rental, Sylvan Hohen, 6159 Highway 10

There is no rental or repair, just sales on this one. Mayor Gamec told Mr. Hohen
that the city is looking at cleaning up Highway #10.

Councilman Cox said there was a question at one time concerning the appropriate-
ness of a business there and he didn't know if there is still a problem now.
He said he thought the council should be aware of the background.there and that
if the building is inconsistent with the ordinance or not should be a criteria
for the council's decision in this case.

Mr. Hohen said the building is just a small building 8' x 10'

Councilman Cox said there was also a question of cars parked on the right-of-way.

Mr. Hohen said there are guard rails there now so no one can park on the right-
of-way. It is all painted and mowed.now and he felt the council should not
recommend him on the past person.

Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Reimann to
approve licenses #80-1113 and #80-76.

Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec,.Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann,
Mickelson and Cox.
