The contractor said he was willing to give Mr. Miller $50.00 toward the sod, <br />but Mr. Miller is not too happy with this situation. <br /> <br />Discussion continued on this issue. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec suggested the city deed over that part of the land to Mr. Miller. <br /> <br />The contractor said that City Engineer Raatikka told Mr. Miller the city <br />would deed it over to him. Mr. Miller had a pretty decent looking yard, <br />but the City Engineer said to cut the cul-de-Sac ou~ of there, so they <br />did it. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to deed <br />over part of the city property where the cul-de-sac was cut out to <br />Mr. Dick Miller, 7600 - 150th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried, voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />Adoption of Resolution Regarding Market Values <br /> <br />A resolution regarding reducing 1980 market values on commercial and industrial <br />properties was adopted at the Board of Review meeting of 5/29/80. <br /> <br />Real Estate Property, 7530 - 151st Avenue N.W., Mr. Steve Johnson <br /> <br />No action. <br /> <br />Petition for Street Improvement, Tonto Street, Salish Circlet 177th Ave. N.W., <br /> <br />178th Ave. N.W., 179 Ave N,W. <br /> <br />The city received a petition for street improvement and the Mayor said this <br />would be about the last petition for street improvement the council would <br />be doing for this year. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to adopt <br />Resolution ~80-48 Declaring Adequacy of Petition and Ordering Preparation <br />of Report for Yakima Street, Tonto Street, Salish Circle, 177th Avenue, <br />178th Lane and 179 Avenue and Resolution #80-49 Receiving Report and <br />Calling Hearing on Street Improvement for June 16, 1980 for Yakima <br />Street, Tonto Street, Salish Circle, 177th Avenue, 178th Lane and 179th <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, Reimann, <br />and Cox. Voting no-None. Please refer to resolution file for Resolutions <br />80-48 and 80-49. <br /> <br />Legislation <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said he th0ughtit would be worthwhile in regards <br />to working on legislation for Ramsey to be involved in the Citizens League <br />and the Metropolitan Association of Cities. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said he preferred the Metropolitan Association of Cities over the <br />Citizens League.
