Ms. Wallskog, 15241 Iguana St. N.W. <br /> <br />Ms. Wallskog said her street happens to be one of the worst streets in the area. <br />She said there has been damage to her car on that street and front ends of <br />other cars have been damaged. She said the plows will not come through <br />because they do the best roads first. <br /> <br />Another resident from Iguana said he has lived there foum years and he has <br />never seen anyone stuck if they go at the right speed. <br /> <br />Mr. Phil Korst, 15150 Kangaroo St. N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Korst said he has a problem with mud in the spring and dust when he leaves <br />his windows open in his house. He said he would have a lot more pride <br />in where he lived if there was a nice kept up road in front. <br /> <br />Ms. Christine Bell, 15230 Iguana St. N.W. <br /> <br />Ms. Bell said she has been unable to afford to do.some things to her house <br />and she didn't know how she can afford to spend money for tar if she can't <br />afford a driveway. <br /> <br />A resident at 15211 Jackel St. N.W. said the majority of us have small <br />children and it would be safer for them with a dirt road than with a tar <br />road. She said a country-like atmosphere is the reason for her moving to <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />Mr. Ronald Kampa, 15150'Iguana St. N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Kampa said he was in protest of the project. <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Menkveld said he has a small subdivision at the end of Iguana Street <br />and he felt it is realistic to have Iguana paved and some of the drainage <br />problems could be solved. He said he would like to see Whispering Pines <br />paved. <br /> <br />Mr. Hayenak said that with the taxes the residents are paying now, the city <br />has a responsibility to upgrade the poor conditioned roads. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said as far as taxes paid, a small portion goes to Ramsey, the <br />rest goes to the school district, etc. <br /> <br />Ms. Maggie Sommers, 8330 - 151st Lane N.W. <br /> <br />Ms. Sommers asked if they would be assessed if it is just done Class V Gravel. <br />Mayor Gamec said the council has not decided on that yet. <br /> <br />Ms. Sommers said if she is going to pay more money, she would rather pay for <br />a tar road than a dirt road. <br /> <br />A resident at 15325 Kangaroo St. N.W. said if he doesn't have a tar road, <br />he would be for a Class V Gravel road. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br />gune 16, 1980 <br /> Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
