2) Regarding Meeting on Solid'Waste'Disposal Capacity Needs in Metro Area <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said if anyone is able or wants to attend the public meeting <br />being held by the Metro Council at Metro Council Chambers in St. Paul <br />at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, June 26, 1980 on solid waste disposal capacity <br />needs in the metro area, it is there. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox suggested responding and indicating that'Ramsey is getting <br />more than its share of solid waste. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman. Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to direct <br />City Staff and City ~Attorney to prepare and adopt Resolution #80-60 <br />incorporating the needs of Ramsey and the benefits that would be derived <br />by Ramsey for helping with core city waste. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. Please refer to resolution file for <br />Resolution #80-60. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich informed the council that the Board of Review cannot <br />meet past June 30, 1980, so he suggested attempting to get a meeting with <br />the County prior to June 30, 1980. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to attempt to <br />get a meeting with the County prior to June 30, 1980 on the Board of Review. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />3) Ed Klemish Regarding the Surfacing of Street <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka asked if there is any legal problem regarding <br />surfacing the streets in Shady Lawn Estates when ~Mr..Klemish surfaces <br />the streets in Trott Brook Estates. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said the surfacing would have to be the same as the city <br />would require under its ordinance and the City Attorney should review <br />drainage problems with them. He directed the City Attorney and the City <br />Engineer to review the requirements with them. <br /> <br />4) Burns Township Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said he had the Burns Comprehensive Plan and he would pass it <br />on to whoever would like it next. Councitmkn-~Sorteberg indicated he would <br />like it next. <br /> <br />5) Finance <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Miekelson to <br />adopt Resolution #80-61 Authomizing the Transfer of Funds: a) Transfer <br />$41,124 from Revenue Sharing to General Fund, b) Transfer $15,000 from <br />Revenue Sharing to General Fund and c) Transfer of $2,086.59 from General <br />Fund to Park and Recreation Fund <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None.
