Mayor Gamec said the outlook for sewer and water for Riverwood Hills is <br />never because it is in the rumal area of Ramsey. He said the Contractor <br />puts out a performance bond which will take care of all costs for repair <br />for a period of one year. As far as normal heavy traffic such as garbage <br />trucks, the proposed type roads will hold up. <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Hayft, 5160 - 177th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Hayft said if it is blacktopped there, his driveway will be completed <br />washed out. He said the ground should be graded there so that it flows <br />away from his driveway. He said he has one of the two lots that is not <br />on the exhibit. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said they will be putting in a turnaround there at <br />177th Avenue N.W. He asked Mr. Hayft if he wanted a culvert across his <br />driveway. <br /> <br />Mr. Hayft said the drainage all comes down to his driveway now, but if the <br />city blacktops it, it will wash out his driveway. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said they could put in a bumm and a spillway there. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec directed City Engineer Raatikka to review the situation there <br />with Street Superintendent Merle Mevisson. <br /> <br />Mr. Donald Brown, 17620'Argon St. N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Brown asked if the 10% figure is concrete. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamee said it would probably be closer to 8% or 8~% and most of the <br />previous streets are coming in lower. <br /> <br />Mr. Richard Norton,'17630 Cobalt. St. N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Norton said he has two lots and neither one are buildable. <br /> <br />Building Official Berg said in order to issue a permit he had Mr. Norton <br />combine his two lots. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said at the time of the Assessment Hearing, this will be considered. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox said the people in the area should know that one lot could <br />be added to the cost of the project. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said the estimated costs are probably a little high. <br /> <br />Mr. Hayft asked who is bidding on this project. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said the bid opening is set for August 4, 1980 and 90% of the <br />projects have been done by H & S.
