City Administrator Schnelle suggested involving the City of Anoka, which owns the land there. Mayor Gamec instructed city staff to invite a representative from the City of Anoka to the Septe~er 15th meeting. Mr. Gerald Stahnke, MPCA, said there is always a possibility that there cold be an ~dergro~d fire when the meth~e gas is at the explosive levels. ~. Woelfel, Waste M~a~ments, said there wold not be enough o~gen in the soil for fire to continue b~ning and spread, however. The discussion on the landfill ended at this point. ~tion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Co~cilman Reimann to direct staff to set up guidelines for bonding of roads in industrial & co~ercial areas. Motion by Councilm~ Cox and seconded by Councilm~ Reim~n to adopt REsolution #80-76 Regarding Metropolitan Waste Control CommissionSanitary Sewer Interceptor Line that will serve the southeast comer of Ramsey. City Engineer Raatikka said they are blacktopping ~lden Eagle Estates and he asked if the city was going to blacktop 171st between Bison Street and Golden Eagle Estates. He said the cost was ~out $1,000. Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Co~cilm~ Cox to have Street Superintendent Merle Mevisson'put Class V on 171st between Bison Street and Golden Eagle Estates. Motion carried.
