Council in the discussion of the adoption of the tax levy for the 1981 City <br />Operational Budget did make the following changes to the City's proposed <br />core budget and the supplements to it at the November 5, 1980 Cou~cil meeting <br />and 'this Council meeting of November 12, 1980: <br /> <br />a) Mayor and Council Activity (101-4011) Line #33 reduce <br /> mileage from $1,920 to $960. <br /> <br />b) Supplements to 1981 core budget were adopted as <br /> follows: <br /> <br />1) Supplement #1 City Hall $41,960 ($30,000 to be <br /> funded through Federal Revenue Sharing). <br />2) Supplement #2 Police Protection $29,320 (which <br /> includes $640.00 for additional cost of police <br /> squad car 1981). <br />3) Supplement #3 (Engineer Activity 101-4211) $36,570 <br /> ($17,000 to be funded through Federal Revenue <br /> Sharing). <br />4) Supplement #4 (Street Maintenance Activity 101-4212) <br /> $13,800 <br />5) Supplement #5 (Street Snow and Ice Removal 101-4213) <br /> $10,130 <br />6) Supplement #6 (Airport Activity 101-4881) $4,900 <br />7) Supplement #7 (Unallocated Activity 101-4930) $36,495 <br />8) Supplement #8 (Park and Recreation Fu~d 221-4552) <br /> $13,955 ($9,000 to be funded by Park Improvement Trust <br /> Fund 802-4956 ) <br />9) Added Supplement #9 (Administrator's Activity 101-4022) <br /> $7,000 to purchase automobile <br /> <br />The above general f~nd tax levy after Council revision was $644,336 plus <br />park fund levy of $36,255 which represents a total of $680,591 in ad valorm <br />taxes to be levied against properties in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion by Cou~cilmanMickelson and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #80-150 approving 1980 Tax Levy Collectible in 1981 as <br />follows: <br /> <br />General Fund $644,336 <br />Park Fo_nd 36,255 <br /> <br />Total to be levied $680,591 <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson. <br />Voting no CounciPaen Reimann and Cox.
