PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on November 25, 1980 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15155 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br />Councilman Reimann <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Cox <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka <br />City Attorney Goodrich <br />City Administrator Schnelle <br />Building Official Berg <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:55 P.M. <br /> <br />Mr. Joe Sentyr~ 5740 Highway 10 & Mike Garin~ Super Bowl <br /> <br />Mr. Sentyrzsaid he wanted to move the sign from the Super Bowl out to <br />Highway #10. He said a variance is needed to move the sign and he <br />wanted the feelings of the council before going ahead with applying <br />for a variance and paying the $90.00 fee to do so. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich said he felt the council should amend the ordinance. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said he thought the ordinance should be amended also. He thought <br />the ordinance definitely has to be reviewed as the City has signs that <br />don't meet the ordinance standards. He said the City is looking at <br />spending some money for directory signs and is in the process of <br />getting an agreement for this. <br /> <br />The consensus of the council was to review and amend the ordinance. <br />This would be taken care of at the next regular council meeting. <br /> <br />Mrs. Nugent <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich said he sent the Nugents a letter regarding <br />removing the pigs from their premises. Mrs. Nugent asked if she <br />removed the pigs if she could keep the cows. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said he was concerned about how strong the City ordinance <br />was and if it can or,cannot be allowed. He said it was a neighborhood <br />fight and the City is involved in it.
