5) Ronallo/Brit Properties requesting Building Status of Part of <br /> the E½ of the NE¼ of Section 4, Township 32, Range 25. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to direct <br />the City Attorney to prepare a resolution to be presented at the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Discussion: The Council discussed - does the buyer understand the conditions <br />and city will enter into agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Councilman Cox, Coucnilman Sorteberg, <br />Councilwoman Van Wagner and Councilman Reimarm. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1) Super Bowl Inc, regarding Industrial Revenue Bond <br /> <br />Citizen Mike Geheren, a representative from Super Bowl came before the <br />Council to discuss Council support in securing Industrial Revenue Bonding <br />for the purpose of enlarging their present bowling facility and to construct <br />a roller rink addition to it. The State Department of Economic Development has <br />directed the Super Bowl people to find out from the Council if it will approve <br />of this project through Industrial Revenue Bonds. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox inquired as to traffic problems with addition forcing the need <br />for semifore lighting on Highway 10. This should be a consideration. <br />Councilman Reimann inquired as to awareness of liquor vs. food percentage <br />requirements. Mr. Geheren stated he was aware of the percentage requirements. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilwoman Van Wagner and seconded by Councilman Cox to support <br />the use of Industrial Revenue Bond financing method for the expansion of the <br />Super Bowl recreation facility. <br /> <br />Discussion: The Council discussed briefly commercial or industrial revenue <br />bonding. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Councilwoman Van Wagner, Councilman Cox, <br />Councilman Reimann and Councilman Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />2) Approval of 3.2 Beer License request by Ernie Peterson. <br /> <br />Mr. Dickenson came before the Council to express his objection to. the <br />proposed approval of the 3.2 Beer License for Ernie Peterson because his <br />property is next to it and much debris is found on the Dickenson property, <br />including beer cans. Attorney Goodrich Stated a door to door was done <br />and the City has checked with the State. Mr. Dickenson stated he would <br />like to make a complaint about the debris. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to grant a <br />beer license (3.2) contingent upon signing and agreeing on terms for a <br />contract to be sure the property is policed by Mr. peterson and Ernie <br />Peterson will have to pay the costs of preparation of the contract. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Councilman Cox, councilman Sorteberg and <br />Councilman Reimann. Voting no: Councilwoman Van Wagner'. <br /> <br />C/March 24, 1981 <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
