the subject property at 13945 Sunfish Lake Boulevard and his <br />recommendations for an agreement between Independent Fire <br />Protection and the City. <br /> <br />Jerry DeChanuy from Independent Fire Protection presented a <br />proposed building and site plan and discussed his intentions <br />with the Council. <br /> <br />Mo%ion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox <br />to adopt the rough draft reference site plan of Independent <br />Fire Protection. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, <br />Councilman Reimann, Councilman Sorteberg, Councilwoman <br />Van Wagner. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec discussed with Mr. DeChanuy taxes in Ramsey for <br />commercial property and advised Mr. DeChanuy to contact the <br />assessor for more details. <br /> <br />3) Park Bond Brochure <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilwoman Van Wagner <br />to proceed with the Park Bond Brochure with the recommended <br />corrections. <br /> <br />Discussion: Councilman Reimann stated he felt the timing <br />was not right. Councilman Cox stated in his opinion at this <br />time because of the economic situation, the present funds <br />should be utilized. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Sorteberg, <br />Councilwoman Van Wagner. Voting no: Councilman Reimann and <br />Councilman Cox. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec further stated the council does not want to take <br />a stand for or against the bond issue in the brochure. It <br />is merely informational. <br /> <br />4) Sewer and Water <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle is in the process of completing <br />capital improvements for the comprehensive plan. City Engineer <br />Raatikka discussed the proposed Utilities may/chart showing areas <br />by year of proposed utility development. The possibility <br />of a water study was discussed. The question of water and <br />sewer being put in at the same time was discussed. City <br />Engineer Raatikka stated a water study would cost approximately <br />$14,500.00. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilwoman Van Wagner and seconded by Councilman Cox <br />to approve a water study by the City Engineer at a cost not <br />to exceed $14,500.00. <br /> <br />Discussion: City Engineer Raatikka read the proposed study <br />criteria.
