Mayor Game¢ stated the City is looking at <br />sealcoating and the cost would probably go back to those people. <br />Resident asked what restoration included. Councilman Sorteberg stated it is <br />deferred until you sell. <br /> <br />Resident Gary Miller stated other alternatives should be studied. <br />Mayor Gamec stated the City has considered alternatives and has <br />to stick with its policy. Small rock or oiling come the closest; <br />however, small rock gets ripptey. <br /> <br />Resident Gary Lien, Bowers Drive, asked about alternatives for the <br />Mississippi area spending $46,000 for storm sewer and if some other <br />drainage could be provided that would appeal to the majority. Mayor <br />Gamec stated in the past this was not adequate and the City would <br />stick to the recommendations Of the City Engineer. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox asked the City Engineer if he physically viewed the project. <br />City Engineer Raatikka replied yes. Councilman Cox asked if some <br />residents were lower away from the riverside. City Engineer didn't <br />recall. Councilman Cox inquired if there would be a burm hole area. <br />City Engineer stated yes in~ississippi Acres. Councilman Cox <br />stated there would be problems in concentrated area with only <br />5' ditche. City Engineer stated they would be leaving grade <br />of road. Councilman Cox inquired in lower areas would the road hold <br />up. City Engineer stated wlthere would be a pipe and catch basin. <br /> <br />Resident Pi%tman stated he has seen water over the road from the river <br />and didn't think a storm sewer could be put in going to the river. <br />He also stated the City should find out where the center of the road <br />would be. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec at this time asked for a vote from the citizens, one from <br />each household on Bowers Drive. 1.
