Citizen Jim Nelson, Rum River Estates came before the Council <br />and asked who ordered this. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec staged the Council ordered it. <br /> <br />Mr. Nelson stated a delay may be beneficial as natural <br />gas is coming in. <br /> <br />Citizen Ralph Schume came before the Council and stated <br />some roads were not included in his area. <br /> <br />Citizen Sue Damyanovich, came before the Council and <br />stated with the gas line coming in this might deter the <br />vote for gas and cause less appreciation in home value and <br />marketability. <br /> <br />Citizen Terry Petel, 6140 157th, came before the Council <br />and stated the grader pulls up and leaves dirt and makes <br />banks and washouts. <br /> <br />Citizen Mr. Chisholm, 5211 Juniper Ridge, came before the <br />Council and asked why the whole addition isn't charged when <br />they use the street now. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated the assessment is. charged <br />on a per unit basis. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman So~teberg and seconded by Councilwoman <br />Van Wagner to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilwoman <br />Van Wagner, Councilman Cox, Councilman Reimann and Councilman <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />The public hearings were closed at 10:30 P.M. <br /> <br />10:30 P.M. REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING CALLED BACK TO ORDER: <br /> <br />CASE #2: BOWER'S MISSISSIPPI ACRES, BOWER~S~MI~S~SISSIPPI <br /> <br />ACRES 2ND AND 3RD ADDITION REGARDING 'STREET <br /> <br />IMPROVEMENT (PROJECT 81-'3): <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated his opinion would be to hold off on the <br />project if only one area wants to be done. <br /> <br />At this time Roger Larson, 14730 Bower's Drive came before <br />the Council and stated he was an original petitioner and <br />out of 45 families on the road, 24 were in favor of the <br />project and they feel they have a majority and want the <br />road. <br /> <br />At this time there was general discussion and comments <br />from citizens, unidentified and out of order regarding <br />their return to the Council meeting on this issue. The <br />public hearing was closed and several residents from the <br /> <br />SpC/June 30, 1981 <br /> !2 <br /> <br /> <br />
