City Enqineer Raatikka discussed three options for
improvement:

1. Pave the road by center of existing right of way
with full drainage.
2. Pave the road where it is and move where out
of the right of way.
3. Leave road where it is and gravel and pave with
no drainage.

Residents would be responsible for restoration.

Resident Allen Pearson, 8846 Highway 10 came before the
Council and stated the road comes in substantially on his
property and he is against any improvements for a.road.

Resident Jim Felknor, 14520 Bowers Drive came before the
Council and asked why allocations for 2nd and 3rd addition
instead of one. City Engineer Raatikka stated the 1st
would need storm sewer. .Mr. Felknor also stated he is
pleased with the road as is.

Resident Austrid Guy, 14760 Bower's Drive, came before
the Council and stated she is against any improvement to the
road. She further stated when people bought or built on
Bower's Drive they knew it had a gravel road and if they
wanted a paved road they should have bought elsewhere.

Resident Dave Petree, 14490 Bower's Drive, came. before
the Council and stated he is opposed to any improvement.

Resident Glen Larson, 14460 Bower's Drive came before the
Council and stated he has a house built in the center of
Lots 30 and 31.

Resident Mr. Weidebach, 14230 Bower'~s Drive came before
the Council and asked if in the future all city roads in
Ramsey are tarred right down the centerline as staked now,
would the residents be notified.

Mayor Gamec stated there would still be a public hearing.

Resident Bill Pittman, 14450 Bowers Drive came before the
Council and stated the road should be left where it.is and
as it is now.

Resident Tony (.could not understand last name), Bowers
Drive, came before the Council and asked when sewer would be
coming into Bowers Drive.

Mayor Gamec stated if the area had no sewer problems, the
closest would be 35-40 years.

SpC/June 30, .1981
4
