Citizen Bob Wirz came before the Council and asked what <br />k£nd of street was proposed. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated in the rural section, just flat. <br /> <br />Citizen Debbie Christenson, 152nd Lane, came before the <br />Council and inquired about additional costs later. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated sealcoating would be an.additional <br />cost later. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec took a straw vote at this time (one person <br />per household, 42 residents) 32 indicated in favor of <br />proposed project, 10 indicated opposition to proposed <br />project. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded, by Councilman <br />Sorteberg to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilwoman <br />Van Wagner, Councilman Reimann, Councilman Cox and <br />Councilman Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed at 8:24 p.m. <br /> <br />IV. Public Hearing - 8:40 Ford Brook Estates Street <br /> Improvement. Project #81-9 <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka discussed the proposed consideration <br />of making a tarvia street improvement. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked for citizen input. <br /> <br />Citizen Robert Stoleum, 17918 Erkium, came before the Council <br />and asked if the city would require tarring later if we <br />don't do it now. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated no, the City usually does it by petition. <br /> <br />Citizen Jim Martin, came before the Council and asked how <br />many competitive bids are taken. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated as many as we can get. <br /> <br />Mr. Martin asked how much property is involved with an easement. <br />City Engineer ~aatikka stated 10 feet on each side. <br /> <br />Citizen Greg Messing came before the Council and asked <br />if the blacktop would go to the driveway. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated to one foot and tie-off. <br /> <br />Mr. Martin asked if driveway and road would be graded if <br />adjusting was necessary. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated yes. <br /> <br /> SpC~June730, 1981 <br /> <br /> <br />
