CASE #2: PETITION REGARDING THE CONTROL OF AUTO AND TRUCK TRAFFIC AT THE <br /> <br />INTERSECTION OF 18OTH AVENUE N.W. AND IODINE STREET: <br /> <br />Council reviewed the petition and requested that City Staff prepare a re- <br />port and submit it to them in October, 1981 on this case. Further directed <br />that the petition signers be notified of the Council action. <br /> <br />CASE #3: BINGO AND BEER LICENSE REQUEST FOR BY THE ANOKA FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> AT THE ST. ANTHONY GUN CLUB: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to grant <br />the following to the Anoka Fire Department: <br /> <br /> 1) Bingo permit from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. September 13, 1981 <br /> <br /> 2) Beer license from 12:OO p.m. to 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None <br /> <br />CASE #4: GRANTING ON-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE TO MR. JIM BROWN (DeZiel's Supper <br /> <br />Club): <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox setting <br />August 25, 1981 as a hearing date regarding Mr. Jim Brown's request for an <br />on-sale liquor license for DeZiel's Supper Club. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />CASE #5: HOCKEY ASSOCIATION: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />approve the application of a temporary sign for the Hockey Association to <br />be located at Industrial Blvd. and Highway #47. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey has received a request from the Hockey Association for a <br />donation of money or a piece of equipment to help the ice arena project. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />table this request. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />CASE #18: REQUEST FOR LOCATING A SIGN ADVERTISING A BUSINESS OTHER THAN WHERE <br /> <br /> THE BUSINESS IS LOCATED; CASE OF MR.
