CASE #15 AUTHORIZATION TO PUBLISH NOTICE FOR REVENUE SHARING PROPOSED USE <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to approve <br />of settin~ the Revenue Sharing proposed use public hearing for 7:30 P.M., <br />~ep'~embe~ 22~ 1981. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers <br />Reimann, Sorteberg and Cox. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />D-3 COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />CASE #1 AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM FOR CITY HALL: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmer~ber Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to approve <br />the following items: <br /> <br />a) Install sprinkler system at the Ramsey Municipal Center as soon as <br /> water becomes available. <br /> <br />b) Waive the building permit fee for the Ramsey Municipal Center, however, <br /> authorize the City of Ramsey to pay the surcharge fee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />and Cox. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />CASE #2 DEVELOPMENT CONTRACTS AND MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS: <br /> <br />Council noted reviewing the current status of Development Contracts between <br />the City of Ramsey and the following concerns: <br /> <br />a) Waltec, Inc. <br />b) Morrell Trucking <br />c) Lee's Landscaping <br />d) N & N Auto <br />e) Minnesota Utilities <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec's advice was to send registered letters to the above mentioned <br />concerns, inviting them to a council meeting to explain their delay in <br />complying with Development Contracts. Councilmember Cox sees no advantage <br />to requesting these concerns come before the Council. He feels Council <br />should grant them an extension of time because they have put forth some <br />effort to comply. Councilmember Sorteberg recommends taking it easy on <br />these property owners. Due to economic conditions, no action other than to <br />keep Council informed and to review in Spring of 1982. <br />CASE #3 DOG CLINIC <br /> <br />Council directed Staff to approach the Dog Clinic matter in the same way <br />as previous years. <br /> <br />CASE #4 LANDFILL REGARDING RODENT COMPLAINT: <br /> <br />Staff was directed to send letter to all citizens which may be contributing <br />to the rodent problem. <br /> <br />CASE #5 ACQUIRING OF LAND FOR ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to approve <br />of granting to the County of Anoka the property as described on the deed. <br />Further to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to sign said document <br />for the City.
