Case #7 - Miscellaneous (Meetings, Appointing person to Anoka County <br /> Resource Board and Public Improvement Projects rejected) <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />appoint Councilmember Van Wagner to serve on the Anoka County Housing <br />Resource Board. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox. <br />Voting no None. Members Absent Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Van Wagner. <br /> <br />Case #8 - Gorham Offer to Donate Lot 6 Block 2 of Gorhams Sandy Acres <br /> Estates to the City of Ramsey to be used as a neighborhood park. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />table this case until the next Council meeting and during the interim <br />send a letter to Mr. Lyle Daugherty sta~ing that there is a proposal be- <br />fore the City with the intent of deeding this parcel of land to the City <br />and further that the City is reviewing the potential possibilities. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox. <br />Voting no None. Members Absent Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Van Wagner. <br /> <br />D-4 BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />Case #1 - Accessory Building Larger than the City Code Allows, case of <br /> Mr. Carl Biederman, 7050 - 175th Avenue N.W. (Plat 89203 <br /> Parcel 6470) <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember $orteberg <br />to approve of granting a variance to Mr. Carl Biederman to construct a <br />pole-type accessory building 40' x 60' (2400 square feet) to be used for <br />his farm machinery and automobiles. It is further directed that no build- <br />ing permit be issued until Mr. Biederman executes an agreement with the <br />City which states the accessory building will not be used for any com- <br />mercial or industrial type of business and that it be recorded in his <br />deed at the Register of Deeds Office. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Case #2 - Variance for an accessory building larger than the ordinance <br /> allows, case of Mr. Cyril Beaudry, 17450 Baugh Street (Plat 89206 <br /> Parcel 6640) <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann <br />to approve of Mr. Beaudry's request to construct an accessory building <br />30' x 50' (15OO square feet) Plat 89206 Parcels 6640 and 6600. Further, <br />that the accessory building will not be used as a storage area for a com- <br />mercial/industrial operation or as a facility to operate any type of a <br />business out of it. This agreement will be recorded with the deed at the <br />Register of Deeds office so as to preclude it from ever being used as <br />other than what is allowed in a residential zone area. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br />Reimann and Cox. <br /> <br />Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br /> Voting no None. <br /> <br />C/September 22, 1981 <br /> Page 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
